Top drying tips

Now you’re equipped with the perfect hair dryer, there’s a few secrets to achieving a stunning salon blowout at home with very little effort:

• A concentrator nozzle is key to achieving salon-level results as it directs airflow exactly where you want it to go. It also helps the cuticles of the hair to lay flat, controlling frizz. 
• Leave your hair until it is about 70% dry before using a hairdryer to prevent excessive heat damage. Rough dry your hair after washing then leave it for a bit to continue drying naturally. When you’re ready, blow dry your hair using just your hands first until the hair is almost dry, then use a round vented brush to finish styling, starting at the roots and working your way through to the ends. 
• Use the cool / cold shot button on your hairdryer! Blasting cool air throughout your finished style helps to set it in place and ensures a longer-lasting blowout.
• Drying with a diffuser is great for people with curly hair because it circulates air to the ends of your hair while diffusing to prevent frizz, creating smooth, defined curls and extra volume.
• Section your hair before you start drying. Start by sectioning the crown at the top of your head first, then comb through and clip away.
