1. Prep Your Hair:

2. Scrunch and Shape:

• Use your hands to gently scrunch your hair from the ends and upwards towards your scalp. This encourages natural curl formation.

3. Twist and Coil:

• Use your fingers to twist and coil your curls. This will help to further define and enhance your natural curl formation. 

4. Section:

• Part your hair into 2 sections - top and bottom. This will help you stay focused on evenly styling your hair.  

5. Attach Your Diffuser:

• Attach the diffuser to your blow dryer.
• Select the low heat and speed settings. This will help prevent frizz and keep your curls intact:
  • Using a high heat can be too harsh for your curls
  • Using a high speed can blow your curls all over the place, taking away from your natural curl pattern

6. Cup Your Curls:

• Take sections of hair and place them into the diffuser cup at the ends.
• Gently diffuse dry up and down, holding it against your scalp for no more than 20 to 30 seconds before moving on to the next section.
• Take your time with each section.
• Continue to dry each section by tilting from side-to-side. 

7. Flip for Volume:  

• Once you’ve diffuse dried the bottom section, unclip the top section and for added volume, try diffusing with your head upside down.

• Remember to always work in sections and only diffuse a section of hair that will fit into the cup of the diffuser.
• Hold at the roots for 2 to 3 seconds. 

8. Dry the Roots:

• Hover the diffuser around the top section and roots of the hair.
• Move in a circular motion to maximise benefits of the diffuser and gentle airflow.  

9. Finish Air Drying:

• Stop diffusing when your hair is about 90% dry.
• Let the remaining moisture air dry naturally for the best results.

10. Avoid Touching:

• Try not to touch or manipulate your curls while they’re air drying; this helps maintain their definition and keeps frizz at bay.
