Use the slimline concentrator nozzles for directing airflow just where you want it, to ease styling and straightening.
Use the 6 x 90mm concentrator for larger sections and the 6 x 70mm concentrator for precise styling on smaller sections. For additional control, use one of the lower speed settings and point the airflow along the surface of the hair to be dried.
CAUTION: Take care not to direct the airflow directly onto the skin (e.g. scalp, neck, ears, face, etc.)

What is the 'wrap dry' technique?
"Wrap drying has become the new way to dry for stylists" Emiliano Vitale.
To wrap dry you direct the airflow along the lengths of your hair whilst brushing it in multiple directions 'wrapping' it around the head and scalp to build volume.

What speed and heat setting should I use for my hair?
Use the low heat and speed setting as the hair begins to dry and for styling and scrunch drying.
The low heat is also best for fine or damaged hair.
Use the high heat/low speed setting for normal hair.
Use the high heat and speed setting for initial drying.
The highest setting is ideal for thick or hard to style hair.
"If you’ve got thick hair, use the Academy Tools Dryer with a strong airflow and high wattage option. Trust me you can go up to 2200W and combined with the powerful airflow speed of 110 cubic metres per hour, it dries the hair faster, minimising hair damage which is important if you want salon standard results" says Emiliano.
What is the cold shot button for?
Use the cold shot button on warm hair to rapidly cool the hair and set the style in place for a longer-lasting effect.
Ceramic tourmaline technology delivers even heat without hot spots for a glossy, shiny finish. Tourmaline is a semiprecious crystal which is a natural source of negative ions and far-infrared (FIR) rays. The production of negative ions from tourmaline eliminates static in the hair, and far-infrared rays assist in the deep penetration of heat thus preventing hair damage.
