The Raw BunVS Style - The Raw Bun
"The inspiration behind this look is the hair at the Nicole Farhi Autumn/winter 2010 London Fashion Week. It was done by world renowned stylist Antoinette Benders.
Of course this is my version but I have to pay tribute to her genius", Emiliano Vitale, eSalon, editorial and multi-award winning stylist.
Steps to creating this look at home:
- Wrap dry the hair to smooth and straight whilst retaining volume. - Once dry, take the hair back into a ponytail and secure with an elastic.
- Back brush the ponytail creating a soft full texture with plenty of dimension. With the last stroke, lightly smooth the top surface of the ponytail.
- Wrap the hair around your hand and create a chignon, securing it underneath with bobby pins. It's so easy anyone can do it. And everyone should give it a go.
- Once secured gently pull out pieces to give that real RAW lived in texture.
