Now, let me just say, I am not a hair straightener virgin. I've purchased anything from Remington, Diva to GHD. I adored the results of the GHD on my hair, however the set temperature of 230 degrees seemed to dry out my fine, thin hair with repeated use. Firstly, it heats up to 230 degrees in a nifty 15 seconds, however you can choose between 3 different temperature settings starting from 180 degrees. The 'CeramicTEC' advanced technology boasts 2 separate ceramic heaters, along with super smooth floating titanium plates. The rounded, barrel design makes curling hair easy, and it also comes with a luxurious heat resistant crocodile storage pouch (score!).
This VS Sassoon straightener makes it so easy to get silky, straight strands or curls, waves and flicks. In addition to the easy-clean, glossy, purple exterior, the rounded arms assists the hair to achieve a full, long-lasting curl. The smooth titanium plates glide through the hair with no catching or pulling, leaving my strands looking shiny, healthy and lustrous. It also features 'floating' plates, which move when you apply pressure, and this allows your hair to be sandwiched evenly during straightening, preventing any 'hotspots', thus ensuring heat is delivered to every strand.
